CITY OF JOHNSON CITY, TX
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
ZONING AMENDMENT APPLICATION

The City of Johnson City, TX has received a Zoning Amendment Application from TX-290-1031, LLC to rezone a property located at 893 U.S. Hwy. 290 W., Johnson City, TX 78636 from Single-Family Residential District (pending approval of annexation) to Commercial and Mixed Residential Districts.  The property, consisting of a total of 50.49 acres, is proposed to be zoned as follows:

Commercial District:
Being a 8.72 acre tract of land, out of a 50.48 acres tract of land out of the Zeno J. Hemphill Survey No. 167, Abstract No. 262, and being that certain 50.47 acre tract of land conveyed to TX-290-1031, LLC by general warranty deed, as recorded in Document No. 183170 of the Official Public Records of Blanco County, Texas; and

Mixed Residential District:
Being a 41.77 acre tract of land, out of a 50.48 acres tract of land out of the Zeno J. Hemphill Survey No. 167, Abstract No. 262, and being that certain 50.47 acre tract of land conveyed to TX-290-1031, LLC by general warranty deed, as recorded in Document No. 183170 of the Official Public Records of Blanco County, Texas.

The Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council will hold Public Hearings on the Zoning Amendment Application on December 23rd and December 30th, 2025, respectively, at 6 p.m. C.S.T. at City Hall, 303 E. Pecan Dr., Johnson City, TX 78636.  The public is invited to attend.
